At Sol y Luz, we firmly believe in the transformative power of community and compassion. We envision a world where every elder in need can live in comfort.
We are aiming to help more elderly people every year.
Founded in 2020, Sol y Luz, Inc. is a Houston-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to serving disadvantaged and underserved elderly communities in Mexico and US.
We hope to be a bridge to the care, support and resources needed to thrive.
We provide critical support to elderly individuals facing hardship by addressing both immediate and long-term needs.
Our assistance includes the distribution of essential items such as food, hygiene products, adult diapers, blankets, mattresses, and home appliances like washing machines.
With deep roots in compassion and community, our mission is to bring dignity, care, and meaningful support to aging populations who are too often overlooked. Notably, we sponsored a full leg amputation and prosthetic for an elder in need, including ongoing physical therapy. Our goal is to improve quality of life with compassion, dignity, and sustained care.
